University of Maryland, Baltimore County West Hills Apartment Renovations

On the campus of University of Maryland Baltimore County, Plano-Coudon completely gutted and renovated five apartment buildings that were in significant structural disrepair. The project included replacing all exterior siding, windows and roofs; repointing masonry; repairing under-slab pipes; and outfitting the site with new parking lots, green space and stormwater management infrastructure. The project also added modern architectural features to the property, including new staircases enclosed by three-story, glass storefront structure systems topped by prominent flat roofs.
