Safety & Quality Control

Building a culture of safety requires commitment from the top-down with daily diligence on the job to make sure that all of our workers get home safely at the end of their workday.

How we maintain our near-perfect safety record…

  • Our commitment emanates from the top. Director of Risk Management & Safety Thomas Koch serves as our Safety Director.
  • Our vigilance is constant. Superintendents conduct regular visual inspections and we often perform mock Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) inspections.
  • Our diligence is methodical. The Plano-Coudon Safety Committee meets monthly with all disciplines to assess existing safety practices, develop plans for improvement and create initiatives to address top issues.
  • Our training is first priority. Before anyone ever picks up a tool they receive a core safety orientation.
