Pickersgill Retirement Community Renovations – Phase 1

Project Description: Pickersgill Retirement Community required phased renovations on multiple floors and an addition to their existing Health Care Center. The renovations included updating skilled nursing common and support spaces; converting existing studio units into one-bedroom assisted living units; installing finishes within resident and public corridors; enclosing the existing loading dock; and completing a new addition to the existing skilled nursing common area. The work accommodates the comfort of community staff and residents, and construction was conscious of limiting noise production. Work also had to be coordinated during the pandemic. We modified phasing, worker access, and schedule to make this happen to keep residents safe.
