When the Hillendale/Halstead PAL Center in Parkville began to subside, Plano-Coudon developed and executed an ambitious but cost-effective solution. After excavating around the foundation and removing portions of the interior slab, crews drilled 94 piles into the ground and anchored the piles to the original footings in order to stabilize the building. The project which also included upgrading interior finishes, was designed to minimize cost and downtime while also extending the life of a highly used community center.
