Baltimore City Recreation & Parks Greater Model Aquatic Center

Project Description: Greater Model Aquatic Center in Baltimore’s southwest Poppleton neighborhood is a vibrant new aquatic center featuring a six-lane lap pool, a family pool with beach entry, and a splash pad with eight interactive spray features. The project included demolition of the old pools and construction of a bathhouse with four private restrooms, a pool office, and a pumphouse to support smooth operations. Expansive pool decks with lounge chairs, tables, shade structures, and ornamental fencing create a safe and inviting environment, while an outdoor mister area adds extra fun and cooling for the whole community.
