The Baltimore City Animal Services project was a single-story, concrete tilt up building with associated sitework. The building includes office administration spaces for BARCS and City Animal Control, an animal surgery center, adoption/surrender area, locker/restrooms areas, and a garage. A total of 116 site-built dog kennels were provided. The sitework includes 4 bioretention ponds, new water, storm water and sanitary systems, upgraded electrical and gas services, large green spaces, and perimeter site fencing with multiple vehicle gates.
