A new, ground-up, three-story building was constructed and converted into 818 Market. The building is comprised of a basement, gourmet grocery store on the first floor, a restaurant, bar, and a commercial kitchen on the second floor. The structure consists of an overall steel frame, with CMU and Stick Built framing, plywood floors supported by wood joists. The exterior reflects the traditional styles of the main street, with trimmed, simulated shake and clapboard siding.
