July 31, 2020 – Ken Kolb has been named Director of Acquisitions, Senior Associate for Plano-Coudon Construction of Baltimore, MD; previously Kolb was in similar roles for local contractors as Senior Associate, Regional Manager and Vice President.
Plano-Coudon CEO, Brett Plano, stated, “we are fortunate to have Ken join our team, bringing extensive experience and valuable skills in pre-construction and construction management.”
In his new position, Kolb is responsible for the acquisition of construction projects, collaborating with clients, designers and trade contractors to achieve project budget and design objectives.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, and is a certified LEED Accredited Professional and certified CM-Building Information Modeling. His industry affiliations include Urban Land Institute, Maryland Affordable Housing Coalition, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, LifeSpan Network and Howard Community College Foundation Board.
Outside of work, Ken enjoys volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America, coaching youth sports, running a community teen center, organizing church activities, and volunteering at First Fruits Farm for the hungry. He enjoys sailing, golfing, fishing, the beach, and spending time with his wife and three children on family trips.
