Plano-Coudon has made several strategic moves to position our business development and preconstruction teams to better support our planned growth and expanded presence in the region. With two promotions and a key hire, we are confident in the talent of our team and excited about the successes to come.
David Lawrence, Director of Preconstruction
David Lawrence has been promoted to Director of Preconstruction, where he will oversee both the preconstruction and estimating teams. David brings more than 20 years of experience and expertise in partnering with clients and trade partners to develop conceptual budgets that result in successful projects and client accolades. This move ensures that our already strong preconstruction and estimating team is now among the best in the region.

Nicole Wilhelm Smith, Director of Business Development
We have also shifted our Business Development function to report directly to our President, Steve Houff, better allowing us to leverage his passion and talent with BD and making it easier for him to collaborate more closely with our BD team. To champion our business development efforts and lead the function, we are thrilled to share we have hired Nicole Wilhelm Smith as our new Director of Business Development. Nicole has more than 14 years of experience in business development in the AEC industry, deep ties to the Baltimore region, and a broad network of professional relationships. She serves on the Board at NAIOP and is active with ULI. We are confident in Nicole’s ability to drive the success of our ambitious growth goals.
