Project Description: As part of Baltimore City’s ongoing Rec Rollout initiative, the Towanda Aquatic Center brings new life to a recreational site in Northwest Baltimore. Completed for Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, this project features a modern aquatic complex with a lap pool, family pool, bathhouse, pumphouse, and shaded gathering areas. Beyond the pool deck, the project also included the remediation of the adjacent football field and the addition of a new playground, enhancing the overall recreational offerings for the community and creating a vibrant, multigenerational destination for outdoor activity for years to come.
