Mission critical projects require dependable expertise in complex power systems, heating and cooling equipment, and construction methods tailored to protect sensitive, high-tech hardware from dust, temperature fluctuations or power outages.
As a company of engineers, Plano-Coudon excels at such technically demanding projects.
At the Baltimore Technology Park, we completed a fit-out of an occupied, 7,000-square-foot data center which included installing a 1.5-megawatt generator with paralleling switchgear, a UPS back-up system, new air conditioning units, a new fire alarm system, an emergency power-off system, new architectural fit-out and a raised-access floor.
At the Montgomery College Information Technology Operations Center in Silver Spring, Plano-Coudon completed a $4.9-million upgrade to the college’s existing data center. The project included installing two 600-kilowatt, bi-fuel generators, new redundant power feeds and switchboards, new air conditioning and dehumidification units, an expanded UPS system, a new flue system and new architectural elements.
In all of our mission critical projects, Plano-Coudon works meticulously to protect sensitive equipment from dust and other harmful elements, and to plan and schedule work to ensure that construction does not impede facility operations.
