Plano-Coudon’s portfolio has long featured an extensive and varied list of education projects. As a young company, we landed contracts with higher education institutions and leveraged that experience to develop expertise in K-12 construction and renovation projects.
We understand that meticulous planning, on-time delivery, great quality, incomparable safety and construction processes that prevent disruption to school operations are vitally important on K-12 projects. We also know from experience that a top-quality contractor in this sector has to be versatile in order to meet the myriad needs of K-12 schools.
We have proven our skills and dedication on assorted projects.
At Maryvale Preparatory School, we constructed a 28,000-square-foot Humanities Building which included a 500-seat auditorium. We also installed a synthetic field and track, new softball and practice fields, and a D-Zone area to accommodate long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vaulting events.
At Thomas Johnson Elementary/Middle School, we renovated a 2,500-square-foot library, creating a modern media center and classroom space. The project which required asbestos abatement, provided Thomas Johnson students with a bright, inviting space that featured custom-patterned floors, a custom aluminum storefront entrance, custom bookcases and a colorful, children’s reading area.
